My 7 week old has been taking the philips avent glass bottles without any issues.

Have DH watch what the nanny does and give her the bottle when you are out of the room. My DS took a pumped bottle from nanny and DH but would never take one from me. We think he smelled the real thing when I tried to give a bottle and wasn’t interested! I couldn’t even be in the same room.

We used Dr Browns

Sadly DD never took a bottle! I was home during covid so we waited too late and she simply refused. Going on 16 months only at the breast.

If she drinks half the bottle (for example) and then comes off and doesn’t continue to act hungry, then she’s done with the bottle. How is your nanny getting her to finish the bottle during the week?

I had luck with MAM bottles and then the narrow neck Dr. Brown’s bottles for my combo fed baby.

Sorry, I meant “take the bottle at all,” not “take it all.” I’ll watch our nanny this week to see what she does. I usually spend that time chasing around my older toddler so I’m not really watching. I don’t know how much she drinks while nursing, but I do get a lot more than I bottle when I pump twice a day, and in addition, she’ll nurse a bit after the bottle if I let her.

My two month old is exclusively breastfed, but we give her one bottle of pumped milk each day. During the week our nanny can get her to drink the full bottle, but on weekends, we struggle to get her to drink it all. Currently use comotomo. Any other recommendations for different bottles or techniques to get her to take the bottle? I’m thinking maybe the comotomo nipple is too long for a baby who’s used to nursing?
