Another vote for Revlon one!! It is AWESOME!

For someone with really fine hair, would not recommend Revlon - too big and too hot. Good for thick hair as heat causes a lot of damage for people with thin hair.

This is above your price range, but I am going to mention it because I have owned it for...let's see. 24 years! I bought it from my salon for 200 dollars way back then and it is still my favorite, and I have tried several of the newer higher end ones. This thing is POWERFUL and dries hair (mine is like yours) very, very quickly. Almost everything else I'm like, "why is this taking FOREVER!?" It looks like they have even more powerful ones, but this is the version I own. It has to have basically paid for itself at this point and is still kicking like day 1.

I think there are lots of good choices around $100-$125. I have a rusk. Try ulta for more brands.

Rusk w8less was about $60 when I bought it and has lasted for years!!! It's quiet, fast, and very lightweight. I like it better than I liked my T3, and I used T3s for years and years.

I have super straight super fine/thin hair. It looks almost the same whether i blow dry or not, so I almost never blow dry unless we're going out or i need to dry my hair quickly.

I've always just owned "bought it for $30 at Target" type hair dryers. They last 15-20 years. So i guess I've probably only owned 2 or 3 in my whole life, and the last one i probably bought pre-amazon/internet reviews My current one just broke into pieces so I'm due to buy a new one.

I was just going to buy another one for $50, but figured I'd put it out here, since you all are always raving about the wonders that a good hair dryer can do.....

I definitely have no need for a $250 dryer. But if i was going to spend $40-80 (as in, not the cheapest chinese junk, but no need to move into the range of speciality dryers), is there a dryer that stands out from the others in that entry range? Or are they all pretty much the same?
