Siena, Lab, and Chelsea all specialize in dyslexia/dysgraphia/language specific learning disabilities and require a neuropsych evaluation as part of their application package. Providers for those evaluations take a while to schedule. especially if you're trying to get in somewhere partially covered by insurance (KKI and Children's). Out of pocket, neuropsychs run at least $3,500. Check application requirements for other schools you're considering.

Also, the application deadline has closed, FYI, although they do rolling admissions for applications received after the deadline.

Our son attended there for MS and loved it!!! They really do a great job helping students strengthen those EF skills but won’t accept without a diagnosed learning difference. They are very particular with the students they serve best and will definitely tell you if your child is not the right fit. They are super skilled at what they do.

It's discussed a lot in the kids with disabilities forum. They generally won't accept someone without a language based learning disability (like dyslexia). For executive function support, look at Commonwealth or Nora.

I'm looking at Siena school for my DD who is academically challenged. No special diagnosis, just poor executive skills functioning and generally not a strong student. Anyone with experience there?
