This is a big lie. Not even a good one.

It's absolutely true, and my doctor offered to do that unsolicited. She knew about the abuse I'd been under for several years, and had been treating me for it.

Having also divorced an abusive, toxic woman, I would say my life is less stressful that if I stayed in the marriage. Like the PP, I eat better, see my friends, exercise more and have lost weight. I've been able to go off my bp meds. My home is peaceful. I no longer have to listen to exDW complain about "what a loser" I am, nor deal with dodging thrown objects, my glasses and car keys being taken away and hidden or the blood nose I received from her b/c I refused to engage in an argument.

Right now, I have no desire for marriage or even a LTR with a woman. I am in recovery from toxic femininity.

Education.

"And the highest levels of both inflammatory markers for years lived alone were observed among men with high educational attainment and 2–6 years living alone (CRP), and 7 or more years spent alone (IL-6)."

Guy here: I think this is likely the mechanism for this finding, based on my past experiences.

Should be easy to fix then. Just take care of yourself.

Breast cancer has a link to women who have been exposed to affairs/infidelities in their marriages, with no prior family history.

All of this has to do with stress/inflammation.

Undoubtedly this is the result of stress. Probably why men who get divorced have a significantly increased chance of having a heart attack.

There was previous research about married men living longer and healthier lives than single or divorced men, but this article is looking into why. It seems that inflammation is the trigger.
