You should definitely just take away all their electronics. The best way to cure depression is to cut them off from all their friends and isolate them inside their bedroom with only their thoughts.

We use Bark.

Also, since she has Apple I have all her texts and emails etc. on my computer as a separate user.

Good luck, we are in the same boat.

I would do this 100% and I’d also limit what my teen can access and limit screen time. It contributes to depression, anxiety, etc.

I'd seek guidance from the professionals treating her, or from an independent clinical psychologist.

Yes, it's very easy with screen sharing/control sharing software, e.g. GoTo meeting. I don't know all the options but you should get some more informed views technology wise from other posters.

However, have you discussed technology use with her doctors? Was she allowed to use electronics during the inpatient program?

Wishing you the very best.

My 13yo DD will be released from an inpatient program soon and I was thinking I would do better to clone her computer and then monitor her activity than simply monitoring. Same with her iPhone and iPad. Is this possible?
