7th grader at HBW said all their teachers were there but many students were out.

Not that my ms kid heard. Did hear in one class that once it’s set up, kids isolating at home will be able to access the class live via Teams. She doesn’t know if it’s just the one class or others as well.

The snow week really helped you guys out!

Admin asked kids to relay to parents a request to please fill out the health check every morning. That’s the only out of the ordinary thing reported by my middle schooler. Seemed like a normal day.

DD said social distancing, seating charts, mask enforcement is all much stricter than before. And she’s 12 and doesn’t usually say much about school so looks like it was a big deal.

Kid wore KN94. Said the principal asked everyone to wear better masks.

Kids were allowed to eat outside - phew.

My kindergartener only had classroom aides. Both of the regular teachers were out.

Normal day for my 3rd grader.

Both kids were thrilled to be back. Both wore KN95s.

HS - more/better mask usage reported, no teacher absences, but a handful of friends out for +tests

Wondering how the schools did.

Masks any different? Such as more kids wearing KF94 or KN95

Fewer kids because of either Covid or concern?

Enough teachers?

I’ll start: at North Arlington Elementary, seems a few more KF/KN masks. Fewer kids but not by much. Don’t know about teachers.
