I like Emmett better and know several Everetts (but no Emmetts). But they are very similar names. I think you can't go wrong -- trust your gut.

Everett. I know a lot of Emmetts but somehow I have this country/hick vibe. Was there a cartoon or show that had a thick southern accent and said Emmett? The kids I know are all very nice though.
