My son went to a full day Pre-K at our local elementary school and it was a better program than the private our older 2 kids went to.
The staff is extremely well qualified and the program is age appropriate. It also made the transition to K really easy.

Not half-day, but we had a good experience. I prefer a private preschool, but it just wasn’t in the cards. My kid learned and really enjoyed the experience. We only left because we move out of the area.

What is this program like? Does anyone have recent experience in one of the neighborhood school programs? Thanks.
