Right - but it’s not the end-all-be-all that a lot of folks here make it out to be. Unless you are going to a top-50 or bottom 1/3 school, I’d doesn’t really matter all that much - or matter as much as the time, effort, expense, etc. I equate it to the travel sports frenzy that starts at age 10.

There's a difference between Top 10 school and a Top 50

Maybe, but not really in the whole scheme of things - especially just undergrad…

I only have my personal experience. Public school educated, then went to my state college. Didn’t do great scholastically as I was distracted easily. But then I graduate with a chip on my shoulder thinking I wasn’t as good as the top tier folks, and took an entry-level job and reached deep to outwork my peers. Success followed…Youngest VP in company history, great wife, great kids, blah, blah, blah. Point is, maybe the path is easier, but the journey is what I love to focus on..and makes a much better story…
