My 12 year old got the booster today at CVS at M and 22nd St NW. No problems at all

Got the booster for my 13 year old at Murch elementary. If you go to the DC Covid vaccination website, it gives a list of locations that are offering the booster. It was quick and easy.

I just went to CVS for a 5:45 appointment (which the website allowed me to make and hadn't been cancelled) only to be told that they are not administering shots to 12-15 yet because CVS's guidance hasn't been updated yet. I have a VAMS appointment tomorrow.

Which CVS? The only time we've had a booster cancelled by CVS was when they ran out of shots before the appointment. My CVS appt made for today has not cancelled yet

I booked three appointments this morning at around 8.30 for slots in the morning or later in the afternoon. the first two were canceled within minutes. the last one was canceled at around 10. i walked to a CVS and a Safweay near me and was told no boosters for 12-16 yet. i am trying the walk up cleaning at Murch this afternoon but at this point may be to wait for tomorrow

Thanks for the follow up. I booked one this AM for 5:30 tonight and it hasn't been cancelled yet . . . so we'll see.

I just booked on CVS for my 14 year old. I didn't make the appointment until next weekend so I guess that is why they didn't cancel it?

I scheduled at cvs but then it cancelled it. When I called the pharmacy they said they are canceling appointments because their system isn’t updated yet and to wait 24 hours

I was just able to schedule a booster for my 12 year old at CVS for later today, in case there are lines at the walk up sites.

Yes! Beginning January 6, 2022, all eligible 12- to 15-year-olds will be able to obtain their booster dose at District-operated library walk-up sites, pop-up sites, and pediatric clinics listed on vaccinate.dc.gov.

Now that CDC has approved boosters for 12+, can we take them tomorrow to the sites listed on the DC government's covid page (as of now they still say 16+ for boosters):
