Yeah, I was hoping for more. But at the end Kate says (copying and pasting from an online review), "If the world stopped for the bad stuff, then everything would be dark. A little trite when you see it written down rather than hear it, but I hope the show's writers take that to heart.
And, ugh, how does Kate end up marrying that pompous jerk? Clearly, there's more there than meets the eye, er, ear. But, ack, send him back to the dreck of A Million Little Things where he belongs.
