I assume that if you call to get a pizza delivered, they would say it is pick up only if they deem the roads are too unsafe for the drivers.

It is their job to do this. No need for outlandish tips

It’s fine, just make sure they can actually get to you—and overtip.

Look outside. If the road is not safe to drive on you shouldn’t order pizza.

Some pizza delivery people don’t mind, some do mind but have to go Into work that day. I wish there was a way to find out. Maybe if you go with Uber you will be getting a delivery person who doesn’t mind driving?

I know that the answer is yes because the pizza place is open but should I be ashamed of myself? There is a lot of snow, I haven’t shoveled, it is still coming down, I live in a house, off of a semi main road. If I tip very well, am I ok? Or no?
