Only if the crowd likes it, otherwise it's obscure and wouldn't be appreciated. It's a nostalgic dish more than anything for people who like it.

Does this have the tri-colored mini marshmallows?

It’s a fun treat. Don’t think it is as polarizing as the salt vs sugar on grits debate! 😊

+1. I'm from the South and it was a regular thing growing up, so I have fond memories. I'd happily serve it for some of my friends, but not others.

I had to google it to see what it was. Ew - no way!

Fresh fruit salad would be preferable.

No. It's stuck in the 80's but it was a crowd pleaser then!

No, not unless you also serve chicken salad and tuna casserole.

No, I think it’s so gross. I wouldn’t eat it. Something like pudding or mousse would be less polarizing I think. Or creme brûlée- I don’t love it but I make it and people go nuts for it.

I do on thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. It’s silly and not fancy but it makes everyone happy.

I love ambrosia. It was a holiday treat growing up. I stopped making it because my DH and kids don’t like it and it’s a waste when I’m the only one who will eat it. I think it would be a little risky because it’s polarizing. But since you will have cake slices, I would go for it!

No, but that's because I'm not a fan.

Would you serve Ambrosia to your guests? I have not seen it served in years.

I’m thinking of ideas in individual containers for patio lunch next Sunday. Soup, salad, wraps and ambrosia. Individual slices of cake and coffee for later.
