BTW, Mbappe is a god. Madrid is a mistake.
This isn't a sports site. It's a parenting site. Of course the posts are going to be drama filled posts by entitled parents with entitled children.
Look they think and are told 9-17 year old travel soccer is “elite”. Hell they think college soccer is a high level. I remember seeing an EPL games(great seats) and flying back here. See Georgetown has a game that is convenient. So we head over and watch. There was no comparison -the skill, speed and passing. I enjoyed the game but it was like going back to algebra after sitting in on differential equations. It’s just a reminder that travel soccer is not elite even in the “elite” leagues. It’s the equivalent of watching your kid play peewee football and thinking you know football.
Mbappe’s pace is so good he relies on it too much. Why not right? The elite teams can shut him down(most of the time) and put him in situations that he is uncomfortable in. PSG is a disaster off the field and it shows on the field. They just do not like each other. They need a new manager who can get them playing together. I saw one game where Mbappe, Naymar and Messi had a breakout and were at full pace against two defenders and it just puttered out…that is criminal.

He has a World Cup already, so there is that.
World Cup while fun is not the highest level of soccer. It’s not even that competitive.
