I've given birth at Stafford Hospital down in Stafford, VA. The birthing center was very calm, and the celebratory dinner for me and hubby was a very nice touch!! They even gave us a Halo Sleep Sack for baby before checked out. Thoughtful touches to help make memories.

Even Reston used to do this. Not during COVID though because of staff shortages and minimizing visitors.

The Sibley rooms are large for a hospital but I did not find the food good. Your best bet is for DH to pick up a celebratory meal somewhere.

Drive to StoneSprings, L&D is very peaceful and they have a meal package - as well as a family pizza feast, which I laughed at because I hated having visitors when I gave birth.

Same Sibley PP and meals they deliver are surprisingly pretty good (for a hospital)

Uh, nothing is luxurious in a hospital during COVID. Just book yourself a spa day for the following week.

Any advice? Pregnant with 4th and looking to enjoy my "2 day break" following delivery 😂🤭😏
