We are two empty nesters and trying to cover about four meals per week. Then I cook one nite, spouse cooks one nite, then restaurant one nite. Sorta the “About Last Night” plan if you get the reference!
I would say V+B has a fair, but not great amount of variety. You can check out their menus for the current and following week on their website: https://vegetableandbutcher.com/
Orders for the following week must be placed by 9:00 pm Fridays. It’s definitely a good option if you want 4 meals per week. It’s dropped off in a cooler bag in the wee hours of the morning so you can have a fresh breakfast or take a lunch to work if you pick those options. Just leave out the prior delivery’s cooler bag on delivery day, and they take it back. Every meal we’ve had from there has been outstanding—their vegetables are extremely fresh, and I’m amazed by how tasty vegan dressings can be. We’re omnivores, but I enjoy the vegan meals just as much as the ones with meat.
Just checked them out -- I think I will try V&B first before investing in the Tovala system. Thanks for the thoughtful replies!
Let me know what you think.
