Mine are and I'm very annoyed that they are wasting resources with no benefits and lots of costs. DCB is not good at this, especially when you see from above that other schools are actually being thoughtful.

The rapid test is optional but everyone needs a negative test to return.

Stokes is requiring a negative PCR taken on Jan. 3 in order to start school on Jan. 5. They will offer PCR testing to everyone on the 3rd.

Basis is following DCPS, with school supposedly resuming on Jan 5 after students are "highly encouraged to receive a negative test to return in-person from Winter Break" but are not required. This too:

"All teachers and staff will be on-site January 3rd and 4th to have access to free testing and to work on instructional resources so that pivots are possible and seamless should case rates continue to rise"
