We ordered Chinese for thanksgiving and it just didn’t taste good to us. We haven’t had it in years. Threw it all out :/

I can relate! I can’t think of anything now but it is definitely disappointing when you’re exciting about something nostalgic and it’s not nearly as good as you remember.

You don't have to earn food, fyi. You seem like you have unhealthy attitudes towards food.

Place that I used to love, still gets great reviews. I just craved it while wanting to be lazy watching Netflix in bed (though I did run 4-5 miles this morning).

It's not as good as I remember. Pretty flavorless and bland, in fact.
