Agree that nursing pay in the DC area sucks. I could make more money as a nanny than as an ICU nurse. 😫

As I nurse I enjoy working with most patients, ICU or med surg was exciting to me but the workload is too much and the pay generally sucks. Many of my coworkers have ended up with back surgery and other chronic injuries. The occupational hazards are awful- there’s not enough patient lifts, never get lunch breaks, etc

The one thing I despise is public speaking with huge audiences but I could manage if needed.
I will look into working with big pharma.
If a school nurse is decently paid I could do that as well
