Recipes on the side of the box are generally really good. The only issue I can think of is if the recipe calls for using that brand's marinara sauce.

Start with the ziti and then try stuffed shells! I think they are easier than lasagna (but I have always cooked my noodles. WTH. Dry noodles? That seems weird but I may try it). The stuffed shells has the recipe right on the giant shells box.

The key to good lasagna is full-fat cheeses. Don’t try and get away with that part-skim garbage. High quality mozzarella and ricotta.
If you can get fresh pasta, all the better too.

Baked ziti is way easier

I get the Trader Joe’s no cook lasagna noodles and use the recipe on the box. Turns out great every time. I’ve done this for years.

Also no pre-cooking the noodles here.
Layer the noodles, sauce, cheese (I mix ricotta with frozen chopped spinach or browned ground beef or turkey depending on which I am making) and sauce. I add a layer of mozzarelle and parmesan cheese too. Poor extra sauce and cheese over the top, and then fill the pasta sauce jar 1/2 way with water, swish it around and poor into the pain. Use a knife to go around the edges, making sure the water finds it's way to the bottom. Cover with tinfoil and bake at 350 for an hour. So easy and so delicious!
