I get all my fine jewelry on TRR now. It is much better value for a piece that looks exactly the same.

I essentially only shop on TheRealReal because I have expensive taste, but a very limited budget. I have purchased over 300 items from thesite, and 100% have been authentic. ,

I have made many purchases on RealReal. Lots of items with tags attached at a steep discount from the original price.

It’s gotten to the point that it is the only place I shop.
Why pay retail if there is so many things to get at a discount?

I purchase from the Real Real quite a bit. I also sell quite a few items. I've gotten to the point that I will NOT buy a designer bag anywhere else. I was in Saks yesterday and thought, why would I pay $2500 for a bag when I can go to the RR and get a bag from this season or last for under $1000. Seems like a waste to pay retail for bags now.

I have bought some incredible authentic things on real real at unreal discounts. I have a 10k amazing mikimoto south sea pearl that I remade into a pendant. My jeweler said it is on exceptionally high quality. $1200. I recently bought a very high end watch that retails for $11k. I got it for $6k, never worn and still has a manuf warranty. I am selective, I order things in newest condition or with tags. I have also bought ferragamo purses. Hermes scarves. And China.

They are great at returns. Never had an issue. But you have to read the description carefully and zoom in the pics.

Would there be any trouble with getting bag fixes done by LV for instance if purchased thru Fashionphile?

I’ve purchased from and sold to Fashionphile many times over the past decade. Always received authentic bags with the condition exactly as described (eg might be listed as “very good” but really had no visible issues upon arrival and I would consider it “excellent”).

Only jewelry, and have been happy.

RealReal and yes. Authentic and condition as described/pictured. They also accept returns and are pretty easy about it, though note you will have to foot the bill for shipping. But they refund promptly.
