I would like to hear more about Turo too! I have a college age child who will be home this summer and will need a car for 3 months for a job. But most likely does not need one in school. A 3 month rental sounds good.

Can you tell me more about that? Funnily my business school section mate was the founder of Turo (then relay rides) but I haven’t followed how they operate today

I know generally there’s a car shortage so I’m assuming prices are all wonky. We need a second car (like a rav4) that will be parked on a city street and we may only have for a few years. It will probably be driven 2x a week or so when kids schedules don’t align and one needs to go somewhere while the main family car is out.

What’s the smartest way to get a car right now for this situation? Financially we can do whatever, I mean more getting the best value and minimizing loss if it gets banged parked on the street
