Good luck.

Great podcast!

Explore whether you’re depressed. Depression craters willpower. IME, I eat less when I stay busy.

Keto! You don’t really need willpower, especially after the first two weeks. You simply stop craving junk. And the water weight and glycogen loss are immediate payoffs that motivate you to keep going. Then slowly ramp up your carbs.

If there is something you tend to overeat in particular, don't buy that. And no..but my kids like this, my husband wants this...so what. Don't buy it. They will live, and probably be healthier too. If you lack the willpower to stay away from things you can portion control well, then don't buy them

This is good advice.

Join WW. Investing money in it helps. Seeing people with more to lose than you, or further along in their progress, could be inspiration. You will probably lose a good amount in the first week or two just from drinking the water and eating vegetables like they recommend and that will make you want to do more.

Take an unflattering picture of yourself. I've had phases where I was fat (for my standards) but didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I saw myself in a photo!

You have to decide you want to. I did the Keto diet and it worked better than I could have imagined.

Start by Reading the last three pages of threads that are filled with the same type of prompt.
Seriously DCUM, this is getting monotonous bordering on plain stupid posting behavior.
