Yup, we use a smoker though. We do Asian (soy sauce,wine,sugar), bbq but the favorite is just plain brown sugar - so good.

It’s very easy. You can use pretty much anything for a marinade (Asian sauces or flavorings are good) or even just salt & pepper.

Ever make homemade beef jerky? If so, have a favorite recipe to share or meat to use or other tips? We are going to try to give a present, but have already planned ahead and bought store jerky as backup if turns out bad.
