For the potatoes you could do hasselbeck style! Like fancy baked potatoes. Twice baked are yummy, but I might avoid a lot of cheese with seafood.

OP here,

We have some weirdos who don't like lobster.

Unfortunately, we're cooking this in a condo so no grilling.

Right now, consensus seems to be leaning towards salmon.

I would grill shrim and scallops using a complimentary sea song r glaze to your steaks. You fought have a nice reduction or sauce on the side that works for all three.

This way it’s easy to cook. You are at the grill and done not Ming between the grill and stove for proteins and possibly burning one of them. This approach lets someone add a piece of seafood next to their steak or just get seafood.

And skip the pasta. The shrimp cooked like this alone is delicious.

This is a subject of much debate. We have agreed upon potatoes, but are still negotiating potato preparation. However, they must be "fancy" potatoes. No boiled potatoes or plain roasted or mashed potatoes will be tolerated! So, if people have potato suggestions. The one thing is we've got one non-meat eater, and one non-seafood eater, so potatoes should be free of both.

I am liking the idea of scampi style shrimp. Do you think I could do shrimp and those tiny scallops? I like scallops.

We have one family member whose favorite Christmas food is potatoes. There is much talk about the potatoes. Do you think scampi and potatoes is too much? Or could I do scampi style shrimp and skip the past?

To be clear, we've already promised people steak, potatoes, broccoli, cranberry bread, and pie. I'm thinking that we just need seafood and a non-green veggie, and some ice cream.

Coming back to add I mist have misread grilling specifically into the original post - sorry. Suggestions still work though.

We have some steaks for Christmas, but want to serve a seafood entree alongside. We're picturing that some people will want just one or the other, but most people might like a surf and turf type thing.

We polled people and everyone likes salmon, scallops, and shrimp, so something that uses 1 or 2 or 3 of those would be good.

Any recipe that people particularly like?
