Not a chance. The vaccine still isn’t fully FDA approved for kids 5-11.
You want to mandate a EUA vaccine for 6 year olds that hasn’t even been studied on kids for a year yet.
Think about what that will mean for the future. Pfizer comes out with some new drug that they say will prevent the flu. Best and easiest way to make a profit? Mandate the drug be given to every kid who attends public school.
Pharmaceutical companies will see a gold mine. Parents should be very careful before pushing for any vaccine mandates, but especially for kid. That is an incredibly short-sighted view.
I guess your partner is the one who's been filling out the forms.

DP.. I think some parents don't like that it's still EUA for covid vax. The other vaxx have been used for many years.
FWIW My kids are all vaxxed, but I did have some reservations for my 13 yr old DD who is built like a 10 yr old.

Just like the sports teams. Seems this would be a way for MCPS to allow kids to continue to perform (choral, instrumental, dance, theatre, etc.) and play (indoor and outdoor sports clubs) not just the verified group of team sports.

My kids were lucky in that all of their performances and events already took place earlier in the month so they didn’t have to lose out on anything but I’m still annoyed for all the other kids who weren’t so lucky.

I’d like to know the logic for not requiring it so far.
