Would probably be very hard to find here I’m guessing. Even in Japan, it’s not enjoyed as a drink in this era. It’s for cooking.

Right, but aren't those just cooking wines (aka diluted wine with a bunch of salt added)?
Like, Safeway might have "red cooking wine" but it's not something I'm going to serve in a glass with dinner.

I'm looking for good drinking mirin.
