I would do a baked french toast (made night before) and buy a few quiches and have a fruit salad.

For 8 adults I'd do scrambled eggs or quiche, don't need both.


Some may not eat cheese, which is why I scramble eggs.

Yes, I plan to make quiche pies the night before. Yes, to fruit salad.

Thank you. Just looked and I see that Whole Foods is out of things. Balducchi's still seems open. I also need Christmas dinner for my family--a lot going on and I am obviously delayed.

Our WF is already sold out of the popular prepared items. I would continue to seek something that doesn't have you doing nonstop work. What about a strata? Assemble the day before and keep in the refrigerator overnight. Make a fruit salad the night before and maybe get some nice pastries.

Hosting maybe 8 adults:

How can I keep this simple on myself? I used to run back and forth to the waffle iron making waffles; cut 5 lbs of potatoes and made hash browns; etc.

Can you help me with my menu and is it okay to buy some of it from Whole Foods? If so, what is good from the Whole Foods holiday menu?
