I hear this is a current tik Tok trend-setter. Basically smash cooked salmon with a fork, mix with rice, smear with Yum Yum sauce and other stuff, mix, heat and eat with a seaweed wrap.

I now only sous vide my salmon. Makes it so buttery and lite. Won't even eat it at a restaurant. My SV salmon is the best.

Do you add flavorings or veggies to the salmon before baking?

It’s not festive but we have pesto salmon about once a week. I buy the frozen salmon from
Costco, thaw, marinade in Costco pesto… then either bake or broil. My kid loves it. We eat it with rice and broccoli usually.

My weeknight easy salmon is seasoned (salt, pepper), pan seared, and then baked for 15 minutes. Drizzle a sauce of cream, dijon mustard, and capers.

My expertise with salmon includes marinating in teriyaki sauce and grilling on the BBQ. I'd like a more festive recipe for salmon for Christmas dinner.
I'm not a great cook but happy to follow a recipe. Thanks!!
