This is true. After a certain wealth, the opportunity cost of the wife finding out and leaving with half becomes less important than the chase and ego stroke. Poor and MC class men are reluctant to cheat because the financial implications are dire, especially when the wives make little or no money.

Have definitely seen the so called entitled affairs. But I think it's just as much about opportunity. Men being as faithful as their options..

My FIL did. He wanted a thin, younger wife with an Ivy degree.

Not necessarily, but not anyone I would want to date because that income will most likely require the person to be available to work before family. I wouldn't want that. The work will be pulling them away the whole time affair or not.

+1 They usually cheat with no plans to leave wife/marriage. Sometimes they come to their senses. It’s the power goes to their head and they become more attractive by virtue of making more $$.

Is it dangerous to date a guy whose income is projected to increase a lot? Do men not usually keep their original partner if they suddenly find themselves rich? I’m talking going from making 100-200k to 7 figures in 5-10 years
