Anecdotally, I know of a few, but only a few. But our ES only had a few cases until recently. That means the positives are way higher than being reported. Then again with vaccinations maybe it will be low...???

Scroll to the bottom below the actual positive cases. Looks like they do track "close contacts". Unless you mean something different.
Yeah, I don't understand OP's post. My child has been identified as a close contact by APS twice this fall, and required to quarantine each time (tested neg each time). And they list close contacts on the dashboard.[/quote
The point is how many of the close contacts go on to test positive? Where is that on the dashboard?

Last report I saw was through October and it was like 27 close contacts testing positive, with thousands of cases walking in the door from students and staff. FCPS has about 178,000 students and 27,000 staff. In-school spread has been beyond minimal.
Can you share a link?

Anonymous wrote:That would require much more in-depth contact tracing and follow up than VDH is providing (doubtful any health departments in the U.S. are being that extensive). In fact, I’m aware of a few instances where families were notified about their student being a close contact towards the end of what should have been a quarantine period.
