For personal electronic recycling, we have donated to local non-profits. We have several friends who work in various non-profits and frequently, our used equipment is better than the worst that they have, especially with monitors. You may have to call around for such a large quantity. You can also check some of the Title 1 and almost Title 1 schools to see if they can take some too.

Otherwise, we bring our stuff to eAsset Solutions in North Arlington. https://www.eassetsolutions.com/ I don’t know, they may already know of places that would love the monitors.

My employer is planning to replace computer monitors (organization-wide). I was wondering if anyone is aware of organizations that could make use of 8 year old monitors, or if these are better off recycled. The 1000+ monitors are not in my possession and there are a few property administration hoops I would need to jump through. However, I wanted to explore potential reuse options before a thousand or so monitors are destined for recycling or (safe) disposal.
