Did birthday with son and fanned the candles for his birthday party friends. We did a small cake at home for the siblings and let him blow them out at home.

Honestly, we've been to very few parties over the past 8 years that even had candles, I think they've been on the way out for a while now.

This was disgusting before COVID. I was never allowed to do this as a child and will not eat any cake that someone blew the candles out on.

We fan them out now, and honestly it's so much more hygienic. Why did we ever think blowing on food others are eating was a good idea?
