I have my 5th graders list right in front of me:

Nintendo switch, Roblox gift card, roblox toys (plays with the figures in his room), nerf gun, new headphones, sunglasses. We have also got him the New Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, a book from the bookfair at school, a case and game for the switch, a tennis backpack and a host of different candies for his stocking.

I keep a spreadsheet with my purchases so it's fair between my 3 kids. He is right about $500 right now which was my goal to spend.

Damn my 5th grader is so deprived. He’s getting some Pokémon elite trainer boxes and a sheering wheel for his x box. You all are spending thousands on your kids each?

gift cards, tbh if you don't know what he wants to buy him a visa with the same amount of money you would spend on his big gift, and let him spend it on his own, it makes them feel mature. which is what a lot of kids his age want, to feel mature.

My nephew asked for me to pay for the proxy for his Roblox server. I’m not sure I said it right and am not sure exactly what it is but his parents said it’s okay so I’m sending the money.
