We took out a bead that was so up the nostril of my kid that we did not even know it was there. It was white colored so it looked like a cartilage to my ped. My pedestrian looked at it and thought that it was just mucous. She made me try the breath blowing at the ped office and it did not work.
Anyways, back at home, I was telling my DH and my older kid what happened at the ped and I enacted the breath blowing and the bead came flying out and smacked my cheek.

That worked for us when this happened, but it was food so maybe easier to dislodge.
