I would just be sure that she is eating normally and not trying to hide her shape.

Sadly, all public school girls in ms and hs in MD are dressing like this.

I was on Team Teen in the hoodie post, but pj bottoms are a different story. Are they clean, is she making the effort to get dressed in the morning and intentionally choosing the pj? Any signs of mental health issues or body issues? Would she wear real pants if the situation dictated pj are really inappropriate, like college rep visiting.

For Christmas could you purchase her solid colored ones that look less pj.

My daughter told me to notice middle school fashion as I was picking her up from the bus and for girls it was basically just sweatpants! I guess it’s the style.

Hopefully it's not the same pair of pajama bottoms? Maybe offer to buy some sweatpants? Leggings? But really not the hill I'd die on. Think of it as loungewear and move on....

I see the high schoolers arriving at Strathmore for their weekly orchestra rehearsal and a solid quarter of them (perhaps more) are in pyjama bottoms or sweatpants. I suppose they've been wearing them all day, not just for the evening, but who knows...

Not sure about school but I see high school girls in PJ pants when we go out for breakfast/lunch or shopping on the weekends all the time.

My DD’s do this as well.
