This. My kids just want to eat the candy as they decorate, they don't want to touch the ginger bread.

Giant has prebuilt ones.I would never eat them, but it’s a good base for decorating. We finally starting buying prebuilt one two years ago after our houses falling apart. It became more work than fun.

I prefer any prebuilt one. Building it is not the fun at all and my kids just want to decorate one.

For young kids, I like the ones from Ikea. Actually, I just like them in general. They’re petite and smell like they should and take just long enough to decorate. We assemble the night before, then decorate the next day with all the candy leftover from Easter, Halloween, etc.

My kids' aunt got them started on gingerbread houses, but I can't do cookies AND gingerbread houses from scratch, so can you recommend a kit that is decent?
