Why not choose a run over a vape pen?

I’m a marathoner. No amount of running will ever cure PTSD. Mine is debilitating. I meditate daily. I do everything I can to prevent the panic. But when it hits, it’s brutal. Unfortunately, sometimes medication is necessary. I believe a natural remedy is the safer option when possible.

My H has PTSD. That ouster is so ill informed.

Did you just suggest a run for PTSD?

It sounds like she has untreated mental health problems. Has she ever been evaluated?

OP here. She saw a couple of therapists virtually for short times. She said they didn't help, but the weed does.

I get it, we all have mental stress to some degree. I choose to deal with it by going on a run, a bike ride, or a hike. She deals with it in other ways, and won't even aknowlege that it might be a tad bit unhealthy.

Running can be unhealthy and lead to surgery.

Just tell her to get a medical card and get it legally do the teen can see that yes, pot can be medicinal but under doctor’s care.

Or to switch to an oral form rather than smoking.

OP here. I have suggested that. She says it wouldn't bring the same pleasure. Or something like that.

My gross deadbeat neighbors do this. They are harshly judged.

I can't relate but I can answer "who smokes weed at 8" question. Apparently, the answer is closer than you think.

Someone who hates their life, or an addict. Same type of person who would start their day with a glass of wine.

So tired of my wife smoking weed multiple times a day, every day. When I say that it bothers me, she says "I get more done than you, it's not your place to say anything." Our teen also shouts me down and defends her mom saying "that's what she need to deal with life."

She did smoke weed when i met her 20+ years ago (not sure how often), but quit within a couple months of meeting me out of respect for the fact that I was a marathon running vegetarian health nut who hated a whiff of any kind of smoke.

IMO, I think I should have a say. I didn't sign up for a wife who would smoke weed multiple times a day. I didn't sign up for a house and a yard that often reeks of weed, in a state where it's not completely legal. I didn't sign up for someone who would pack on 40+ pounds since we met (maybe that's another thread.)

I'm not sure what my question is. Can anybody relate?
