ASICS

I love my Asics- i underpronate which is less common that overpronating, So I feel like it’s always hard for me to find shoes that will help me run properly. I’ve moved between a few different models over the years depending on what’s available or what’s been discontinued, but I just search for a ASICS underpronators shoe and it’s helped eliminate my knee pain from running

Altra and Topo Athletic. But agree with PP who said to go get a gait analysis at a running store. These stores also have very forgiving return policies (usually can run in the shoes for a month to try them out).

Mizuno. Various models. Have gone through probably 13 pairs. I need a roomy toe box and these are the best I’ve found.

I used to love brooks adrenaline, but the new versions each year are hit or miss and lately mostly misses. My last few pairs, the uppers have just disintegrated very quickly.

Hoka. I was ready to give up running because of foot pain before I switched.

Hoka are great if you like a lot of cushion.

If you have neural pronation, Asics Gel Nimbus is a classic choice. I've been running with some version of these for 20+ years and love them.

Another vote for Brooks Ghosts. I was fitted at a running store for them 10 years ago and just keep upgrading the model year after year!

This really depends on your gait and your feet. I like Brooks Adrenaline, but it is worth getting professionally fitted.
