Don't understand why the NCAA makes these girls and boys play back-to-back games on championship weekend after having two weeks off from games. I know they don't want to play on Sunday but really hurts a lot of the competition level.
Well it’s a continuation of the travel mentality. All these games would be better with 3-4 days off between games but it’s not really about getting the best game or the athletes the proper rest. The NCAA does not really value the athletes because they play for free and there is an endless supply of new athletes.
Except they do it for Division I and II in the Final Four and they also don't take two weeks off. These games are much different than travel and more intense. TCNJ was playing about 20 hours after its semifinal. CNU went overtime the day before.
Budgets! Unlike travel, the money doesn't come from the parents. Not sure d3 programs have money to stretch out the tournament
United Soccer Coaches offered to pay for a day off and NCAA turned it down, had nothing to do with NCAA budget

I hate that schools don’t put the club the girls played for. It’s not like football where you get recruited by playing hs soccer.
