I'm in CA....absolutely not even worried about it. I'm fully vaxxed, and boostered as is the rest of my family.

After Omicron there will be more that come along, so we just need to get used to the new normal.

+1, OP. I think there is media hype over Omicron for ratings. I am not discounting it, but I give it a side eye.

The Bay Area does a lot of sequencing and test analysis etc . They have have ramped up in the past few days to go back through more samples.

Yes - and when we don't also vaccinate the world - it will often happen outside our country then get brought here too.
