Are you assuming there's a maid to receive this any time at their house? What a stupid gift.

I was psyched to get a jenni’s ice cream delivery.
I also like jasper hill farm. Order soon though.

My dad always used to get Cheryl's cookie baskets around the holidays and they were a hit with my whole family. But Zingerman's sounds like it might be fancier.

+1
There’s always a local place. Use the local place. Chocolates, a cheese shop, a gourmet food shop. I only know Twin Cities local shops, or I’d give you names, OP.

Who has that much extra freezer space on demand? That looks really good if I had time to eat down the freezer and plan to be home for delivery though.

What's the deal with Murray's cheese? It's owned by Kroger and almost all of the specialty cheeses at our Kroger owned grocery store are now Murray's brand, and every one we've tried has been disappointing. Did it used to be something special?

OP. we always just did Harry and David for business gifts (I also helped out my husband with stuff like this for his business for several years). The pears are legit good and the other stuff is always a hit with someone in the family. I know DCUM looks down on it, but it works in a pinch. For certain clients we would do an expensive bottle of booze, but shipping can be problematic depending on the state where you're sending it.

Is this really necessary? She is asking for help not your criticism.
