I'm guessing it's a doctor who said to use crutches -- a 9-year old boy isn't make that type of decision.

The behavior of the 5 year old child is forgivable, the response from the mother is not.

You may have 2 years invested with her, but that would be the end if I heard an excuse like that come out of someone’s mouth. I don’t see how you can choose her and not be doing wrong by your child.

This should not even be a question. Your son is your priority and your job is to protect him. Even from a kick from another kid. Both she and her daughter sound awful

I’ve been dating a woman for about two years but her daughter has been getting worse and worse. She’s 5 and my son is 9. This past weekend her daughter kicked my son’s foot because my son was telling on her for turning off the lights when they were over and now my son is in crutches. Is it time to end this? She says my son needs to not be a tattletale and a few kicks wouldn’t break a toe and my son overreacts.
