Also lololol about DeSantis/Tulsi. You are smoking some strong stuff, bud.

This. He didn't win a primary; he is a sitting cabinet Sec. Period. That is it.

+1 Can anyone name the last cabinet secretary who ran for president?

To clarify, the last one who was not previously a Secretary of State?

Clearly, you’ve never paid attention to him. He’s the antithesis of that dry ass Terry McAuliffe.

I’m not in love with Harris leading a ticket, and I don’t doubt that the racist and homophobic will balk and do what they do.

That said, Pete is pretty damn impressive and exceptional. Try to actually listen to him; see what he’s about behind a white male in a a suit.

I don't have to listen to him. I watched him blow off his only job 4 months into the 'work' - to the point that two administration political appointees were hired to clean up the mess.

He talks pretty and would be an awesome Press Secretary (if he could stay on message) but that's it. Some men are put into the fire and excel it - Obama. Some men are put into the fire and flame out - Buttigieg.

"tulsi?" On a R ticket?

Out of curiousity--why did you use the first name for all the Democrats but call the Republican by his last name?

They likely mixed up Tulsi and Nikki. I'd like to see Tulsi join Andrew Yang's Forward movement. The Democratic party has been absolutely abusive to her.

Oh totally - getting elected to Congress then deciding you are too good for Congress just because people don't want you to be president. She should sue!

His people are going into overdrive planting stories to create this impression. It seems to have worked on you. Transpo secretary is really third tier cabinet level stuff.

He can win the coastal states. Unclear on the middle/southern ones.

He also has only won a mayorship. That’s it.

I seem to be the only one that thinks he doesn’t have a future in national politics. I don’t think that he can win red states because homophobia, I don’t think he connects to minorities, and I just find him to be an empty suit. He comes across as an intelligent guy that is never fully present in what he is currently doing because he’s trying to secure the next big thing. Yet, every three days there’s some article about how he is going to be the next presidential hopeful.

He gives Terry McCauliffe vibes except when he loses we will be stuck with President DeSantis instead of Gov. Youngkin. If you look at the crazies like DeSantis and Trump they get people super excited and fired up about them. Warren, Sanders, and AOC all do that as well. Mayor Pete does not and I really wish the dems would focus on developing someone more promising.
