They had blueberry pies at Safeway in Wheaton yesterday. I know you were asking for NW Hit I imagine all the other Safeway’s carry the same items.

Uh, they ARE available in the markets here because they are farmed in South America where it is summer at this time of year. I just bought some for DD. The best blueberry pies I’ve had for Thanksgiving come from Harris Teeter, Wegmans and Whole Foods. If they can’t get fresh, they use frozen blueberries. Even Gourmet Magazine’s recipe uses frozen.

I’m outside of the city, but my Harris Teeter had them today. Maybe try there.

PP is correct. You won't find a good one now because blueberries are not in season.

Hard at the last minute. Try local bakeries? Bread Furst, Tout de Sweet, Fresh Baguette, or Praline?

Seeking recommendations where I can get a good blueberry pie near NW DC/Chevy Chase/Bethesda. Wholefoods use to have a good one but they don't seem to have them any longer. Thanks.
