The kid used to play for VDA on a 2nd or 3rd team, but now is playing ECNL and is playing up a year. The kid is not very good and is slow which actually hurts the team playing in the midfield. The team is not very good being a lower tier team in the U14 age group. To add, this parent has made numerous recommendations to the coach resulting in 4 Latino players joining the team for this year at this dad’s recommendation. These players were supposed to bring this team to the next level, but the team continues to be a losing team. You can tell this coach favors these kids more than the rest of team and they all start every game though only a couple should start cause there are better players in those positions on the team. Basically. this dad has the coach wrapped around his finger as every now and then there’s a new kid at practice and guess who recommended the kid to tryout?
So what can be done at this point? Is there anything that can be done in this situation? Or do we just shut up and continue to shell out $2500+ a year for this BS?

Interesting. He used to play for the VDA 3rd team? So did my DS. Now playing ECNL and up a year? Sounds like my DS again. Not very good and slow? Darnit - I think you must be talking about me.
I've actually been recruited by a group of Satan worshippers from a different team to bribe the coach and get him to do things which actually ruin your team while pretending that they are to improve the team. I was wondering how long it would take you to notice.
Is there anything you can do? I guess you should organize with the other parents. The trouble is several of them are on my payroll now. The new ones I've had the coach bring in are obvious of course, but I've got a couple of others you don;t know about who let me know everything you guys say so I can stay one step ahead.
Bwahahahaha
