She just spent a week in Europe shoring up foreign alliances, she was on the Senate floor over the last 48 hours breaking ties and she was on the podium at the BIB signing.

That isn't being sidelined. That is a right wing talking point to undermine her credibility.

I posted the below (duplicate thread). I'm a 50 year old woman who is definitely center left and I find Sinema to be kind of cuckoo, but I'd take a look.

Mayor Pete has the best "presence," which is why he did well before. He is great at messaging and turning right wing attacks into dust. That said, I'm not sure he's really ready. But people would get excited to vote for him - he has charisma and wit.

I realize the Democrats are now the "big tent" party but they have sucked at developing their talent.

Michelle Obama is a sympathetic figure with a platform.
I guess Hillary is still around.

Short answer: no. The last primary showed we have huge problems. There isn't anyone charismatic and smart enough on the public stage (yet). I thought Governor Whitmer looked good for a while but she seems to have fizzled out.

Well it was Cuomo but that’s not going to happen. It’s an interesting question. Many have have been pushing Stacey Abrams but I think they’ve seen how their diversity hires work out. Eric Adams is an interesting blueprint for a sane democrat. Bill Maher is probably the closest the liberals have to a smart, informed truth-teller who isn’t afraid of the mob and is completely inoculated from the woke BS.

Biden and Kamala seem underwhelming to put it mildly. Pete, equally does not seem up for it. Warren, Bernie are getting on in years. Booker? Meh. Most of Nancy's leadership team are octogenarians. Yang...well let's not even.

Is there anyone exciting and viable to track on the Democratic side?

Republicans at least have their pet pols in DeSantis, Noem, Youngkin etc. Who do you foresee generating any kind of excitement for the Dems? I look at the current bench and just get depressed.
