A thought did pop into my head. Kysten Sinema. Yes, I know the progressives feel betrayed by her, but this mess is partly because of the progressives. They are not electable on their own. Right now the WaPo is reporting the biggest Republican lead for congressional votes since 1981! But Sinema could be the moderate Democrat who wins a lot of respect from Republicans and could keep the states Biden won if Trump runs again.
I posted the below (duplicate thread). I'm a 50 year old woman who is definitely center left and I find Sinema to be kind of cuckoo, but I'd take a look.
Mayor Pete has the best "presence," which is why he did well before. He is great at messaging and turning right wing attacks into dust. That said, I'm not sure he's really ready. But people would get excited to vote for him - he has charisma and wit.
I realize the Democrats are now the "big tent" party but they have sucked at developing their talent.
