My Aunt and Uncle bring a box of fancy chocolate. We have a "Chocolate Course" in between dinner and dessert.

What about Cards Against Humanity? You can leave it with them after you all play together.

Definitely wine, if people drink. You could also ask if you could bring a side or dessert- anything to make hosting easier/cheaper would be appreciated.

Something that doesn't require fridge space and doesn't need to be served/dealt with right away. It's hard without knowing what your brother and his family like and already have, and how old their kids are. A bottle of wine and one of sparking cider? A set of holiday-appropriate dish towels? A Thanksgiving-themed cat or dog toy if they have a pet?

I would also offer in advance to go out and pick up bagels or doughnuts and coffee or something for breakfast the morning you are there, so they don't have to plan to feed you that meal as well.

we will be visiting brother in laws family for thanksgiving this year and will stay for one night. beside a nice birthday cake since it’s his birthday, what else would you recommend bringing to his family of 5? we are a family of 4 with two teens. Thanks.
