From the AMS website it looks like the White Flint Montessori may be closest to you and has the top accreditation rating. In my view, you should start there. Realistically, unless a school is on your commute, it should be with a 5-mile radius of your house/work.

Hi I want to send my son to montessori program. I see lot of montessori preschools/daycares around this area. But I am confused on which one to pick. Some schools seems to claim as montessori certified but when looked on amshq school finder few of them are not listed whereas few of them are just member schools but not certified. Also I see few AMI certified vs. AMS certified, unsure which methodology would be helpful. Despite of all this Best montessori teacher is what matters finally. Since this is my 1st experience I have no clue which schools around this area have best mo[b]ntessori teachers and materials. Please suggest. I am ok with list of preschools around 15 miles of Rockville, zipcode 20852. Thanks
