We do sautéed corn and rolls, but otherwise this is our usual menu. Whenever I add more, no one wants it anyway. Oh, and a spinach salad.

Do NOT put anything in cranberry sauce besides cranberries, some water, and some sugar (I put in sugar to taste). No need, no point.

This. I’d add cranberry sauce cause we really love it, but if you don’t like it, then it’s perfect. I love this recipe by the way, but do half the sugar:

Cranberry sauce if the family likes it.

I think it sounds great! My kids would revolt if I left sweet potatoes off the menu, but I know not everyone cares about sweet potatoes. If your family doesn't, I wouldn't include them just for 'tradition'.

Sounds good to me!

This is pretty much my plan, but I add rolls. Sounds great to me!

I think it's great! If am just like you except my kids are 12 and 9 (and I'm American), and I plan on just doing these exact things plus rolls. Although I'm actually doing chicken instead.

I love the way you're thinking about this.

For a family of four - my husband and me plus 2 children, ages 11 and 7:

Turkey

Mashed potatoes

Stuffing

Gravy

Roasted brussel sprouts

Apple pie & pumpkin pie for dessert.

I'm not even from this country, but my children (and husband) like to celebrate Thanksgiving. I usually offer many more choices buy since I'm not hosting this year...

So, it this good enough to keep with the traditional Thanksgiving dinner?
